The Sunset Solar project is a 60MWac solar photovoltaic power plant.

Perimeter originated the Sunset Solar Project with lease options signed by Perimeter on 823 acres of dryland pasture outside the city of village of Grassy Lakes in southern Alberta. Perimeter secured land lease options, completed environmental permitting, initiated and progressed the AESO interconnection, and following sale to another entity, progressed the project successfully through permitting at the local government level (MD of Taber) and with the Alberta Utilities Commission. Perimeter worked closely with local stakeholders to finalize the permitting without any registered opposition.
